Atlantic City @ Trump Marina

 Who's Next headed up the Saturday line up of Fake Fest 2006 which included a Billy Joel Tribute and Bon Jovi. Much thanks to Stoney who drove in from Maryland and did a incredible job as always playing The OX. Darren from the Wholigans again sat in for Bobby who is still in the UK. Darren "The Mad Man" didn't miss a beat and continues to keep the spirit of Keith alive.  It's a great pleasure to be a able to play with other "Who tribute" members and help each other out when needed. We are all one big family. I would like to thank Stoneys wife Sue for taking some great photos. Also Cindy  was shooting us as always with her "new" camera. I would like to thank Sara, Joyce, and Meg for making the trip down and supporting Who's Next . My first time meeting Meg and she's a doll. I love just sharing and talking "Who" with people who understand. It's either you get it or don't, well these Who babes have it!!

We performed 2 sets a late afternoon set and evening set. It was a cloudy day with rain kind of on and off. We just stuck to the basic set list of "Who Hits". A long gap between sets is not always the best situation cause by the time we started the second set I was a drunken sailor. Fueled with booze and anger set 2 had a little more edge (That might be an under statement). There was no question that a guitar was going down at the end of My Generation it was the decision to either smash on the stage or on the deck in front of the stage. I was already warned by the concert organizers that the stage wasn't strong enough to take the blow. Well, I guess the deck wasn't strong enough either (Sorry Mr. Trump, but I'm sure you have enough money to replace 4 or 5 planks of wood)
